Analysis of this project will cover the speed and torque requirements from the motor that will determine gearing, the type of blade based on required hardness and the feasibility of using different setups based on the ability to comfortably cut the composite strips.

Note: The analyses below were completed for the original blade design idea from the principal engineer. Upon further consideration, this idea (called the "chipper style") was abandoned in favor of making adjustments to the design used by past engineers on this project (called the "shredder style").
